Part 97 Considerations:

• Encrypted, HTTPS, traffic is not permitted.
• Advertising, is not permitted.
• Personal use of the Mesh Internet connection is generally frowned upon as the connection is intended for updates and emergency communications.

General Tips:

• Many mesh nodes show accessible services such as chat servers, video cameras, phone extensions, and more. These are indicated as links under each mesh node with some being accessible without passwords and other requiring authentication. There are a few simple steps to "cracking the code" on these resources:
  • Cameras with "View View", "Guest View", or other key words are providing the username and passwords with these words. Click the link and when prompted for a username or password, use these words to gain access.
  • Meshchat is open to all with only a call sign needed for access. Note that when you log-in to Meshchat, there are a number of topic groups to choose from as well as one universal group. You can also start a new thread if your topic does not yet exist.
